Helena Wu-Chen, M. D.

 

Dr. Helena Wu-Chen joined Eye Doctors of Lancaster, in October of 2014.  She specializes in Neuro-ophthalmology.  Dr. Wu-Chen’s training includes a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the University of Minnesota, Surgical Internship at Lankenau Hospital, Medicine Internship at Temple University Hospital, Neurology Residency at Temple University Hospital and her Fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology at Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute.  She is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology.

While at Temple University she served as Chief Resident.  While she was at Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University she received the Hirschhorn Foundation Scholarship and while at Temple University Hospital she received the Matthew T. Moore Award for best research presentation.

She has been published in several research journals.  She is also fluent in Spanish and Mandarin.  In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family.  She is happily married and has two children.
