Theodore D. Jones, M.D. joined Eye Doctors of Lancaster in September 2001 as a comprehensive ophthalmologist/cataract surgeon. Dr. Jones graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Pre-Medicine. He completed his Medical Degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine where he received not only Academic Honors but also Clinical Honors. He served his medical internship at Reading Hospital and Medical Center in Reading, PA and then completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.

Dr. Jones is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has presented research at the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology. He has presented at the Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology at their meeting in Florida. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Prior to Dr. Jones joining Eye Doctors of Lancaster, he worked at Ioannis A. Lougaris Veterans Affairs Medical Center as a comprehensive ophthalmologist with an emphasis on cataract surgery from July 1999 to September 2001. From 1989-1990, Dr. Jones was a part of the original Ophthalmology Team of Eye Doctors of Lancaster. Dr. Jones is on staff at Lancaster General Hospital, Surgery Center of Lancaster and Physician Surgery Center
